Does plugging an ethernet cord into a phone line give you internet access?

In my room, it’s basically a dead zone. Well, you can still receive high bars but my modem won’t work and my computer doesn’t have the wireless network feature. Also, I just recently got an Xbox 360 and I want to play it online in my room.

No sir, unfortunately it does not. With the Xbox 360, it also has wireless online play, so if you have access to a wireless network (yours or a neighbor’s!) you can purchase the wireless adapter for the 360 and play that way.

no, you need to set up a broadband service with a provider to get access.
Oh by the way, you can’t connect an ethernet cord into a phone line, it is physically impossible. I am not sure what you should use. (I know this isn’t much help)
