Unless you are a co-signer or have the direct permission of the account holder then yes, that is a very bad thing. I use the internet feature of internet banking for my clients, but I have a signed release on file stating that I have their permission to access the accounts. Accessing someone elses without their permission would be illegal.

If you dont have permission from the account holder. What could you possibly gain from looking at their accounts.
