Is there a way to access the Mormon genealogy libraries on line?

http://www.familysearch.org is the Mormon genealogy site. It’s free to use; they have added a new search pilot where you can narrow your searches down; they have the Social Security Death Index; the censuses of 1880-81 from the US, Canada & UK; and not to mention countries from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. Be aware of multiple listings for the same person, however–some have
parents/spouses mentioned, marriage dates/places, christening dates/places, etc. while others do not.
They also do NOT try to convert you.

It is an excellent site, and has a lot to offer.
It is also the tip of the iceberg, since many of the ORIGINAL RECORDS that they have filmed (ie court records, so forth).. are NOT online. You still have to go to one of their locations to view those.
