Gold server is configured to emulate a working client landscape. This is done by installing
different systems on a single machine.
All components are installed as servers instead of
systems or stacks. This means, the Gold server has ECC and Solution Manager 7.0 installed natively in the system. The remaining software is installed as Virtual Servers. Once you boot your Gold server, you start each of the Virtual Server. You only start a server that you need. For example CRM IDES 2007.
This Advantage for this method is numerous, and
you can carry out integration projects between ECC
and/or CRM SCM SRM etc, just like you would in a corporate environment.
Each server is a single capacity in itself. This
